Holy Rosary Credit Union is a state chartered and federally insured community credit union. We have been serving the people of New Hampshire since 1962.
HRCU was founded by a small group of parishioners of Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, New Hampshire. This group was formed to provide assistance and advice to people who otherwise would not have easy access by traditional means. Over the years we have grown into a full-service community credit union. We take pride in having added the most convenient and up-to-date services without losing the compassion and personalized service that is responsible for our growth and the loyalty of our membership. We know that we have made a difference in people's lives.

Credit Unions are non-profit financial cooperatives that are owned by their members. That means if you open an account here, you are a member and an owner. Our board of directors, supervisory committee and credit committee, the overseeing bodies of the credit union, are staffed by volunteers who are members themselves. All owners are invited to attend our annual meeting to elect members to the board and supervisory committee. Credit committee members are appointed by the board. Our purpose is to provide the most up-to-date and innovative financial services to our entire membership. If you have never belonged to a credit union, experience the difference, you will be happy you did
Joining the Credit Union is simple. No secret handshakes to learn. Just open an account with $5 in it and it's done. Come visit us today, and experience banking redefined.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law, under the Patriot Act, requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you is that when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license and/or any other forms of identification. This procedure will apply to co-signers and co-borrowers who are not members of the credit union.
The following is a list of acceptable photo ID:
- Un-expired driver's license
- Military ID card
- NH State non-driver photo ID
- Passport
- Immigration Card
- Government issued ID
- Student ID
Individuals opening accounts for minor children will have to provide ID for themselves and a social security number for the minor child.
You also will be asked for ID for certain transactions such as wiring funds.
If our staff asks you to provide a photo ID, the request is not meant to invade your privacy or to disregard your long-term membership status. We are simply complying with a new federal regulation that is designed to protect you from identity theft and protect the credit union from being used for criminal or terrorist activities.
According to Federal laws all names will be checked against government lists provided for this purpose.

Sinclair named HRCU Employee of the Quarter
(ROCHESTER) - Holy Rosary Credit Union announces Nicole Sinclair as Employee of the Quarter for 4th Quarter 2007. Recently, the Credit Union’s branch in Rochester underwent some renovations, and Nicole’s calm nature during the disruption was a key factor in earning this honor.
"Nicole demonstrated professionalism during the construction phase of reconfiguring the Main Office drive up lanes, while assuming her vacationing supervisor’s responsibilities,” said Rosemary Shields, HRCU’s Assistant Vice President of Branch Administration. “She remained positive, made sure disruptions were kept to a minimum, and that members were not inconvenienced. Even the construction workers commented on what a pleasure it was working with her."
Nicole joined Holy Rosary Credit Union as a part time teller in January of 2005. After a little over year, Nicole was then promoted to full time in May of 2006 and again in August of 2006 as Senior Teller.
Nicole currently resides in Middleton, NH and is a graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute. She is an avid fan of the Red Sox, the Indianapolis Colts, and Dale Earnhart Jr., and is also part of Holy Rosary Credit Union’s bowling league.
