 Smart Teens is a special program designed to bridge the gap between our youngest members and those entering adulthood. Smart Teens meet the needs of our members age 13 to 17, and gives these members the ability to develop responsible habits regarding their finances before entering adulthood. Smart Teens members are offered:
- Smart Teens - no minimum balance, no monthly charge. You can write up to 4 checks a month at no cost and just 50 cents a check over that amount.
- 50 free checks per year
- 1/4 % off on your first car loan with HRCU
- STAR/MAC ATM card or AlternaCheck debit card with no annual fee
- Secured VISA® credit card if you qualify (parents are required to be on account)
