December 27, 2016 — Rochester, NH – HRCU has announced that construction will begin on renovations to their Dover, New Hampshire branch, located at 490 Central Avenue. The project began on December 27th, 2016 and is expected to be completed by Spring 2017.
One of four locations across the state, the Dover branch has been serving the downtown area for fifteen years. As a whole, the credit union now serves over 20K members; it strives to personalize the banking experience with each new member that joins, and its Dover renovation project reflects that mission. As such, it will remove the traditional teller line in its main lobby for a layout suited to a personalized, one-to-one service for members. Upgraded technology and additional offices are also coming to the branch, to give members personal attention in an upgraded atmosphere.
“We have been in Dover for a number of years now, and it is time we make this branch fall more in line with what our members have grown to expect,” said HRCU President & CEO Brian Hughes. “We are excited to bring the Dover branch the same look and feel of our recently-constructed Rochester branch, which has received such great feedback.”
During this construction period, the branch will remain open with a temporary entrance accessible by Third Street. For updates on the renovations, stay tuned to HRCU.org, as well as the HRCU Facebook and Twitter pages.
Leading the construction effort is DeStefano Architects, an award-winning architectural design firm in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. DeStefano Associates in Portsmouth are the construction mangers for the project.
