ROCHESTER, NH – HRCU President & CEO Brian Hughes, COO Rosemary Shields and AVP of Technology Ken Mauser were recognized with Patriot Awards from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) this past week. They were nominated for these awards by HRCU System Administrator Daniel West, who is also a Sergeant in the Rhode Island Air National Guard.
The ESGR awards the Patriot Award to reflect the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
In addition to the Patriot Awards, Hughes also signed a proclamation from the ESGR as a sign of the credit union’s commitment to support those in the guard or reserves.
“It is great to have someone like Dan as a part of our family and we would be grateful to have more like him in the future. We are happy to help support those who serve in any way possible,” said Hughes.
