Deposit Insurance

Rest easy knowing your deposits are fully insured with coverage up to $500,000.

National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) Insurance

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is a U.S. government agency that insures deposits at federally insured credit unions, including HRCU.

  • Your HRCU deposits are insured up to $250,000 per member by the NCUA
  • This coverage is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government
  • If you hold multiple accounts with the same ownership at HRCU, they are combined and insured in total up to $250,000
  • You may qualify for additional insurance if you have different ownership interests or account types
