ROCHESTER, N.H. – Holy Rosary Credit Union’s Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Kayla Selhorst as the credit union’s next President and Chief Executive Officer. Selhorst will join HRCU on October 1, 2026, and work alongside current President and Chief Executive Officer Brian Hughes through year-end to ensure a thoughtful, seamless leadership transition. Hughes will retire on December 31, 2026, after more than 22 years of leadership.

Following a comprehensive national search conducted in partnership with the executive search firm Smith & Wilkinson, the Board selected Selhorst for her extensive executive leadership experience, commitment to member service, and vision for the future of community banking.

Selhorst will assume leadership of one of New Hampshire’s strongest performing community credit unions, serving more than 25,000 members with over $500 million in assets.

“Kayla impressed the Board with her leadership style, strategic thinking, and genuine commitment to staff, members, community engagement, and advancing the credit union movement,” said Dana Flanders, Chairman of the HRCU Board of Directors. “She is an exceptional fit for HRCU and will build upon the strong culture and solid financial position Brian and our dedicated team have established.”

She also serves on the Ohio Credit Union League Board of Directors.

“I am honored to join HRCU and grateful for the confidence the Board has placed in me,” said Kayla. “HRCU has earned an outstanding reputation for serving its members, investing in its employees, and strengthening the communities it serves. I look forward to working alongside Brian and the HRCU team during this transition while building on the exceptional foundation already in place.”

Hughes welcomed the announcement and expressed his confidence in the future of the organization.

“HRCU has always been about people—our members, our employees, and our communities,” Hughes said. “Throughout the search process, it became clear that Kayla shares those values, and I have every confidence she will lead HRCU with integrity, vision, and care.
