ROCHESTER, NH – HRCU has announced that Anne Brown and Dawn M. Richardson, MD, have been appointed to their Board of Directors, representing the interests of the organization and its membership. Additionally, Kathy Gordon has been elected to the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, which oversees the safeguarding of member’s assets.
Brown, a Rochester native, has spent the past 25 years in public relations, community relations, marketing, and organizational communication, primarily in the business technology field. Currently, she is the Director of Communication for Daystar, a managed IT services provider. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cornerstone VNA. She and her husband, Jeff, reside in Barrington with their children, Alexander and Alysen.
Richardson, MD, completed medical school and an emergency medicine residency at Brown University before remaining on their clinical emergency medicine faculty until 2010. She later moved to the NH Seacoast to become Chair of Emergency Medicine at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. She currently practices emergency medicine at Huggins and Portsmouth Regional Hospitals, and additionally practices medically assisted opiate addiction treatment at Groups Recover Together in Rochester. She is also the caregiver for her adult son Damian, who has autism, and has a daughter in college.
Gordon, also a Rochester native, is long-time member of HRCU. She started her career in Human Resources with Liberty Mutual, spending 17 years there before moving on to Monster Worldwide, where she supported several large clients over her ten-year career there. She continues to work in HR Consulting roles today. She made the move from NH to ME 20 years ago where she resides today with her children, Jake and Kylie, and their yellow lab, Teddy.
