FARMINGTON, NH – HRCU has announced a donation in the amount of $5,000 to the Friends of Farmington (FOF), a local non-profit organization. The FOF are currently looking to renovate the historic Masonic building located at 480 Main Street that has been renovated following a devastating fire.

Once renovated, the FOF will look to provide no-cost to low-cost office space, where new businesses will have an opportunity to grow. Professional growth support and assistance will also be provided to these businesses.

Additional space will also be made available for community meetings such as addiction recovery, local enrichment groups and other organizations looking to better the town. Lastly, space for community activities including yoga, martial arts, art exhibits and social functions will be provided.

“At HRCU a phrase you will see and hear a lot is “Community, It’s Who We Are”, but that is more than a tagline to us, it is something that we try to live by,” said Brian Hughes, President & CEO of HRCU. “We have been working hard with the Community Outreach Coordinator Kathy King to see the Friends of Farmington flourish here in this new space and develop the community.”
