Each month we automatically assign a dollar amount to your overdraft limit. If the transaction that is causing you to overdraft falls within your limit we will pay or approve it.

Courtesy Pay is a service the Credit Union provides to its members to cover you in the rare event you do not have enough available funds in your checking account. It allows us to pay checks, ach and other transactions made using your checking account number. It also allows us to approve your daily purchases made with your debit card in the event you do not have enough available funds to cover the transaction.
You can change your decision at any time by simply calling us at (877) 895-6840, logging on to your home banking account at www.hrcu.org or stopping by one of our branches.
When you are grocery shopping, at a restaurant paying for your food, or at any retail establishment - if you have made a mistake and you do not have enough available funds in your account to cover your purchase you will be declined when your card is swiped.

The charge for this service is $27.00 per occurrence. This is one of the lowest charges in the state of NH! There are no annual or monthly fees to pay - you only see a charge when and if you use the service. We will not impose a service charge for any purchase under $5.00 as long as the balance in your checking account has a positive balance at the time of authorization. We'll be happy to refund the service charge for your first overdraft - just ask us!
