Farmington 500 – From baseball and softball to football and volleyball, the Farmington 500 is returning for another season of youth sports and HRCU is thrilled for the opportunity to sponsor another team this year.

Rochester Babe Ruth & The Roy Allain Golf Tournament – Back for another year the Rochester Babe Ruth League is ready to get back out onto the field. To help them raise funds for a fantastic program they also host the annual Roy Allain Golf Tournament. HRCU has been a long-time supporter of End 68 Hours of Hunger and on January 3rd of this year they donated to support six programs, Barrington, Dover, Farmington, Milton, Rochester and Somersworth thereby supporting 400 children in our local communities. Learn more here!
This December, HRCU donated to 44 local non-profits as a part of the 8th-annual Christmas Caring Campaign. This year included 14 first-time recipients: Gather NH, End 68 Hours of Hunger (Barrington, Milton & Somersworth), Alton Community Services, Waypoint, Dover Children’s Home, York County Shelter Programs, Seacoast Family Promise, New Generation, Cornerstone VNA, Great Bay Services, Children’s Dyslexia Centers and Victims, Inc. Rochester Superintendent Kyle Repucci, Rochester Rotary Club President Kerry Norton and HRCU President & CEO Brian Hughes visited students at the School Street School to kick off their Summer Reading Program. HRCU & Rotary partnered together to provide books to all first and second grade students in Rochester this summer.

At the Richard Mahoney Charity Golf Tournament, Make-A-Wish NH CEO Julie Baron was presented with a check for $150,000 on behalf of New Hampshire Credit Unions! Presenting the check was CCUA President & CEO Ronald McLean and HRCU President & CEO Brian Hughes, who also serves as the CCUA NH Social Responsibility Committee Chairman.
HRCU, Service Credit Union and Northeast Credit Union recently matched an anonymous donation of $15,000 to the Homeless Center for Strafford County, bringing the total contribution to $30,000!
